We offer our Panel screening technology to prevent you and your physician from being overwhelmed with insignificant or irrelevant information. Our reports do not contain any genetics lingo or strange scientific jargon – we take the genetics out of genetic testing and our reports are written in layman’s language that you’ll be able to understand.

Existence Genetics’ services are only available only with a health care provider’s prescription. We provide your clinician with two printed versions of your Genetic Report, one for you and one for your provider, and if requested, digitally to your EMR. The report for your health care provider includes detailed information, such as genetically tailored prescribing information for relevant medications that he or she may utilize in your care, as well as a full list of references.

How confidential are my results?
Existence Genetics adheres to strict confidentiality protocols to ensure that your genetic information doesn’t fall into the wrong hands. As an example, your name and any other personally identifiable information is never included on your genetic report. We use a Confidential Identification Number (CIN) instead. We also have numerous internal safeguards throughout the entire process to ensure that your genetic information is safe and not disclosed to anyone except you and your physician.

Existence’s services are available only through health care professionals. Because your genes provide a significant amount of information about disease risk, we believe that all genetic testing information should be delivered through a licensed health care professional.

Existence Genetics provides reports to physicians in the same way they receive reports for all the other testing they provide: either on paper or via their EMR (electronic medical records) system. Because of this, our services cannot be purchased over the internet.
