Ordering a panel is as simple as ordering a CBC –the doctor just checks off the panel he or she wants and all the diseases within that panel will be assessed. The process is so simple that no needles or blood are even required - all that’s needed is a simple buccal swab of a patient’s cheek that can be performed right in the doctor’s office in under a minute. The buccal swab is then sent to a government-regulated clinical laboratory (CLIA certified), the patient’s genetic material is isolated and run on Existence’s proprietary, highly accurate Nexus Gene Chip, and the results are analyzed using Existence’s Nexus technology.
